What exactly am I buying?

You are buying a curated setup guide — not the mods themselves. All mods remain free on their original platforms. What you get is the complete list with direct download links, the correct load order, install instructions, and conflict notes. It saves you hours of research and trial-and-error.

How do I get access after paying?

After payment you receive two things within 24 hours by email:

1. Config Pack (ZIP) — extract directly into your GTA V folder. Contains Plugins, scripts, ELS configs, custom INI files and everything that can be copy-pasted.

2. Manual Download List — direct links to the remaining mods (mods\ .rpf files, ScriptHookV, NVE etc.) that must be downloaded from their official sites. All free.

Make sure your PayPal email is correct — that is where the access email is sent.

What is your refund policy?

We offer refunds in the following cases:

✓ You accidentally purchased the same list twice
✓ The list does not work as described (report within 7 days)
✓ You have not yet received access after 48 hours

We do not offer refunds after you have downloaded or accessed the full list. As with all digital products, the content cannot be returned once accessed.

What happens when GTA V gets a new update?

Mod lists are updated by the creator when a major GTA V patch breaks compatibility. The changelog and last updated date are visible on each mod list page. If you have already purchased a list, you will automatically get access to the updated version at no extra cost.

How do I install the .rpf mods (mods\ folder)?

The mods\ folder uses OpenIV to safely modify GTA V files without touching the originals. Here is how:

Step 1 — Install OpenIV
Download and install OpenIV (free). Open it and select GTA V.

Step 2 — Enable Edit Mode
In OpenIV click Tools → ASI Manager and install OpenIV.ASI. Then click the red Edit Mode button.

Step 3 — Install the mods
OpenIV creates a mods\ folder in your GTA V directory. Any changes go here — your original game files stay untouched. Download the .rpf mods from the links in your mod list and install them via OpenIV drag & drop.

Step 4 — Never update GTA V while mods are installed
A GTA V update will break your mods. Disable mods first via OpenIV before allowing Steam updates.

Do I need any specific GTA V version?

Each mod list specifies the exact GTA V build it was tested on (e.g. Build 1.0.3725.0). LSPDFR mod lists require the Legacy version of GTA V — not the Enhanced edition. Check the build number before purchasing.

Something in the list is not working — what do I do?

Use the free AI Support to diagnose your issue — it specializes in GTA V, LSPDFR and mod conflicts. Upload your RagePluginHook.log for an instant crash analysis. If the issue is with the list itself, contact the creator via their profile.

Where are the mod files hosted?

GetModLists uses three hosting methods depending on file size:

GitHub (free, recommended for small packs) — Creators can link their GitHub repository. Works great for mod lists, configs and packs under 100MB. Free, version-controlled, always online.

Config Pack ZIP (upload) — Creators upload ZIP files directly. Suitable for Plugins\, scripts\ and config files.

Manual download links — Large files like .rpf mods (mods\ folder) are linked to their original free download pages on lcpdfr.com, gta5-mods.com etc.

I want to sell my own mod list — how does that work?

Create a free account, build your mod list using our builder, and publish it. You earn 60–80% of every sale depending on your creator rank. Payouts are processed within 30 days to your registered bank account. Apply as a creator here.

Is my payment secure?

All payments are processed via PayPal — we never see or store your payment details. PayPal offers buyer protection on all purchases.
